Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't want your data. We run a review site, not an account service. Here's exactly what passes through our hands and what doesn't.

What we collect

Server logs. Our host records the usual things every web server records: IP address, browser type, the page you requested, the time. We keep these for a short window for security and to fix breakage, then they roll off. We don't build profiles from them.

Analytics. We run a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. It counts page views and referrers in aggregate. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking, no advertising pixels. We can see that a page got 400 visits. We can't see that you were one of them.

Email. If you write to [email protected], we keep the message and your address so we can reply and, for corrections, follow up. That's it.

We don't have accounts, we don't have a newsletter signup, and we don't ask for your name.

What we don't do

We don't sell data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't run third-party tracking scripts on this site. There's no cookie banner because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.

When you click through to a partner

Every button on this site opens a partner platform — that's where accounts, chats and payments happen. The moment you land there, their privacy policy applies, not ours. Those platforms collect far more than we do: account details, payment information, the content of your conversations, sometimes device and usage data. Some of it is sensitive, and some of it is stored for as long as your account exists.

Read their policy before you pay. Look for what they say about chat logs, whether conversations are used to train models, how long data is kept after you delete an account, and whether you can request a copy or deletion. If a platform is vague about any of that, treat it as a signal.

Some partner links carry a tracking parameter so the platform knows the visit came from us. That's how commissions get attributed. It tells them a click came from LoveHoonga; it doesn't tell us who you are.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Given how little we keep, most requests come back as "a server log line and your email." Still, ask.

To exercise any of these, email [email protected] with the request. We'll confirm within a few business days and act on it promptly. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority — though we'd rather you told us first.

Children

This site is for adults. It's not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us an email, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a fresh date. Meaningful changes get a note on the homepage for a week or two.
